A traveling replica of the Veterans Memorial in Washington DC will be at the University of Texas at Dallas. The Wall That Heals honors all who served during the Vietnam War. The University of Texas at Dallas will display The Wall for four days and nights around the clock beginning sometime on Wednesday evening, November 19 and going through Sunday noon, November 23, 2104.  The Wall also has a traveling visitors center which provides an excellent history of the American men and women who served in Vietnam. There will be a public ceremony at 10:00am on Friday, November 21 (RSVP required): www.utdallas.edu/evites/wall/ Print Friendly

Civil Air Transport (CAT) was an airline founded by Lt. General Claire Lee Chennault, leader of the Flying Tigers, and Whiting Willauer of China Defense Supplies at the conclusion of World War II.  Most of the pilots were former Tigers or other combat pilots from the Asian Theatre.  For the next four decades, CAT, and then its successor, Air America, were primary instruments of American foreign policy in Asia.
