CATs over Shanghai

Final draft of my art painting project on the arrival over Shanghai of the 3 CAT C-46s

Felix Smith was instrumental in describing how the three aircraft zig-zagged across Shanghai as he leaned out the access door of one of the aircraft taking photographs. One of the resulting photographs was the famous picture included in Felix’s books and on the cover of the Pictoral History of the Civil Air Transport (by Joe Rosbert).

I expect to have the project completed by the 2014 reunion in Dallas. I will also have copies printed and available at the reunion. Indicate if you are interest by adding a comment to this posting.
