Sean Wei
Hi! My name is Sean I am writing to you on behalf of my grandfather. He is 98 years old, turning 99 in a few months.
His name is Ching Wei, and he was the assistant communications chief of Air Ground Control in CAT in Vientiane, Laos from 1961 – 1974. He has been looking for old friends (if they are or were alive) for years and years, so he was excited when I had told him I had come across this association while surfing the web.
I remember seeing some photo albums from his days in CAT ( from Taiwan to Laos) and am trying to find them again to digitlaize them and preserve them. If and when I find them and scan them, I can send them to you.
His best friend: Chen Yu, was his chief and supervisor in Vientiane. And we have found a few former CAT and Air America employees through the years. I will refer them to this association!
